Conventional bicycle seats with a nose

Conventional bicycle seats support the entire body weight on the base of the cyclist’s spine, creating high pressure on the perineum while seated, pressing and temporarily obstructing blood flow in the groin area.

The Yogui bicycle seat harmonizes with the pedaling motion.

Its double-saddle system supports the thighs and glutes, avoiding pressure on the sensitive groin area.

A study conducted by the University of Chile showed that the Yogi seat is a valuable tool for designing training plans aimed at increasing energy expenditure to raise the demand of physical activity.

Participants showed a tendency to generate greater energy expenditure with the Yogui seat compared to conventional seats, placing more demand on the gluteal and thigh muscles.
